A new week full of possibilities and a new updated look!
Happy Monday everyone!
I am so excited to be back on my blogging game and decided that the best way to celebrate is through a sweet smelling post, if only you could actually transmit smell through the internet. Coco Chanel was once asked where one should apply perfume and her response was ladylike yet seductive, “where you want to be kissed.” I personally love wearing perfume and always apply two spritz right below my jawbone in the morning and at night and even spritz my clothes once a week. It is the best way to not only smell great but also uplift your spirits and provide that added touch of sexiness to your day and prepare you to conquer the world! I am a fan of fragrances that are seductive and sophisticated so the whole Victoria Secrets sweet smells are a no-go for me. My fragrances are more on the floral, musky, yet fresh side of the spectrum. So let’s talk about my seven favorites!
As of now the newest member of my nightstand is Gabrielle Chanel, it contains fresh notes of Jasmine and Orange Blossom and smells amazing. You can never go wrong with Chanel.
If you have never worn Jo Malone you are missing out. The scents are timeless, elegant, and sophisticated. They carry feminine and masculine scents that are great when combined. Three of my favorites are Peony & Blush Suede, Nashi Blossom, and Amber & Patchouli. The Jo Malone collections will not disappoint, trust me!
These fragrances are amazing! Each perfume is a different and uniquely sensual experience that leaves you wanting more. Two of my favorites are Rose de Vents, completely fresh and silky, and Matière Noire a beautiful combination of floral notes and patchouli (my lifelong obsession). Absolutely worth it!
This Tory Burch fragrance is one of my favorites from her collection because it is the perfect mix of feminine elements with tomboy. It carries through hints of peony and neroli (orange flower). It is amazing!
Clearly I love any fragrance that has notes of peony, which happens to be one of my favorite flowers, and patchouli, I am an incense freak and patchouli is my life! Again these scents are not sweet or fruity, they are strong but mix so perfectly with the skin and last all day. By the way your clothes will smell amazing for a very long time! It’s probably why I go through my moms closet from time to time, her clothes always smells like her perfumes and I love it. Check these out y’all, they will not disappoint and let me know what perfumes and fragrances you prefer.
